Achievements

Complete the following achievements to unlock Xbox Live Gamerscore points.

Achievement - How to unlock
Cheating Cheato (20 points) - Bump into Grunty's disowned spellbook three times as it hops around the place dishing out cheats.
Chomp Chomp! (15 points) - They're red and no less than 30 of them need chomping. Nuff said.
Free Clanker (15 points) - Liberate Clanker, Gruntilda's rusty and recalcitrant garbage grinder.
Get Jiggy (10 points) - It doesn't matter which two, just successfully collect any two Jiggies.
Jigsaw Maker (20 points) - Bet you thought jigsaws were boring! Bottles disagrees, and has seven of them to be solved.
Jinjonatored (20 points) - Fear the Jinjonator. If you're a witch, that is. The Jinjonator lays the smack down on witches.
Knock out Nipper (15 points) - Come out on top in a dust-up with Nipper the crab. Watch out, he's called Nipper for a reason.
Move Master (15 points) - Discover and master all Banjo's moves... and Kazooie's... but nobody else's. Unless you insist.
Mumbo Jumbo (10 points) - Get yourself transformed by Mumbo Jumbo for the first time. Now that's magic!
Music Maestro (25 points) - There are 900 musical notes out there in the world of Banjo-Kazooie. Real gamers collect them all...
Show me the honey! (15 points) - Collect all 24 of the extra honeycomb pieces. Yes! Every single one! It's character-building.
The Quiz Master (20 points) - Complete Grunty's Furnace Fun quiz show and win the Star Prize. Been paying attention?

Alternate game selection screens

The game will randomly play a humorous saved game animation. Rare has confirmed that any code that involves pressing A when the fish in the bowl does something is false.

Avoid fall damage

Enable the "Unlimited gold feathers" code. Activate them before you jump from a ledge. You can do this in Mad Monster Mansion on the beams on the top of the "church" room with the hand thing, and not lose any health after falling. This can also be used to walk on the rosebushes in Mad Monster Mansion.

After you complete the 'Puzzle Game' code go to the castle in Treasure Trove Cove. Put in the following codes:

Click Clock Wood: Extra life

Use this trick to get that extra life on the entrance to Click Clock Wood. Go directly behind the entrance, but to the right of the back of the level. Do this as slowly and quietly as you can and you will hear the sound of Banjo walking on a pad. This is a shock-spring pad and when you jump on it you will jump up high enough to reach the top of the entrance to the level and get the extra life. Note: You cannot see the pad because of the long grass -- you can only hear Banjo walking on it (near the back, on the right).

Defeating Gruntilda

When DingPot takes you to the roof of the lair, Grutilda will say another rhyme about winning, then she will swoop down and try to dive bomb you. When you hear her laugh, move out of the way as far as possible. She will keep this up. When her broom stalls, Rat-a-Tat-Rap her. Every time you do so, she will fire a fireball. Zig-zag to avoid them. Repeat this until she throws a ball that homes in on you. When you hear the whirring sound, turn invincible. Note: She will dive for more times the more you hit her.

Defeating Snowmen

Use the following trick to kill the snowball-throwing snowmen with no flight pads nearby. Go up to one of the snowmen so you are almost touching him, then Talon Trot away very quickly. He will not throw a snowball at you for about two to five seconds. Snowmen do not throw snowballs at you when you are directly next to or in front of them.

Extra life

To get another life as soon as you start the game, get Super Jump from just around the left corner and go back to the house. Go around to the side of the house that has the trash cans. Jump up on top of the one in the corner. Jump up onto the top of the house, then jump up on the chimney, and get the extra life found up there.

Gruntilda rock

After defeating Gruntilda the witch, go to Spiral Mountain. Go to were she fell in the ending sequence when you defeated her. There will now be a rock that is rumbling and shaking here. This is Gruntilda.

Have a maximum of 100 red feathers

Enter Mad Monster Mansion and change into a pumpkin. Exit Mad Monster Mansionand walk through the graveyard and into a lava room. Follow the small winding path over the lava and you will find a hole in the wall. Enter the hole, follow the tunnel until you enter a cavern. The spellbook in here will tell you to enter the cheat ''REDFEATHERS'' on the sandcastle floor in Treasure Trove Cove. Once you do that, you will be able to carry 100 Red Feathers!

Mad Monster Mansion: Hidden room

Go to the graveyard and walk around until you see a window with Banjo-Kazooie's picture on it. Break the window to find dozens of eggs and feathers.

Maximum 20 Golden Feathers

Once you have raised the water around Rusty Bucket Bay for the second time, go back to the first chamber (the one with the floating bomb) and hit the switch there to raise the water level to it's highest. Quickly swim back to the Rusty Bucket Bay entrance chamber and swim into the the hole in the wall. Go up the stairs and speak to Cheato, who will tell you to enter the code ''GOLDFEATHERS'' into the Treasure Trove Cove sandcastle floor. Do so and your maximum Gold Feather total will be 20!

Maximum number of eggs is 200

Before you enter Bubblegloop Swamp, go behind the entrance with the Wading Boots and enter the hole in the wall there. Follow the tunnel along and you will enter a snowy area. Go up the hill on the left and Beak Barge the icicle blocking the small tunnel. Now, go to Bubblegloop Swamp and change into a crocodile. Exit the Swamp, and go back through the tunnel in the wall and along to the snowy area. Go up the hill, enter the small tunnel and follow it to a small cavern. In here, you will find a spellbook who will tell you to enter the cheat ''BLUEEGGS'' in the sandcastle floor of Treasure Trove Cove. When you enter that code you will have a maximum of 200 eggs instead of 100.

Rusty Bucket Bay: Code

Go from the start, straight to the ship. Walk to the other side of the ship and you see the code "312-111". That is the code you can blow in front of the ship.

Treasure Trove Cove: Kill Snackers

To kill Snackers the shark, shoot five eggs at it. Or, drag it to shore and jump while using Golden Feathers on him. You can do the same thing to kill piranha fishes. The shark gives you three honeycombs and the fish gives you one honeycomb.
