Alternate loading sequence
Hold R1 while selecting a transmission type. Keep R1 held through out the loading screen to see a man hanging from the roof of your car in first person view.

Press & hold the following buttons while choosing your shift assist option. Keep pressed until the game has loaded:
R2 + X + Circle - Genki Gremlin
L2 + X + Circle - Blue mosquito
L1 + X + Circle - Dog

more opponents
when you race around and defeat all the racers, they turn green, i have figired out how it works, the game runs around the ps2 clock, so when you defeat them all, save the game, and take the disc out and reset, set the clock to just before midnight, load the game, when it loads stay in your garage till after midnight on the clock, go back on the highways, and theres a fresh lot of people to race !!

Roof Hangers
While selecting the type of transmission you want (automatic or manual) hold either R1, R2, L1, L2 through until the loading screen appears and either a "blue mosquito", a "deformed man", a "strange red beast", or the "Genki Gremlin" will appear hanging from your roof.

Speeding fines
If you didn't already know you can get speeding fines !! after playing 20 mins non stop i went to my garage to see if i had any new parts and a page poped up and said '(blah blah blah) you have been caught at the speed of 315km/h' and it takes money away from you, speed is good but it kills you in this game !! literally

White Carismo car
Defeat the last Zodiac (White Carismo) to unlock his car and get about $4 million dollars. To get $5 million dollars when you defeat White Carismo, let him win the first time he challenges you. Then go up, challenge him, and win. At the ending you will see a message appear that saying "Challenge Ending = 5 Million Dollars".
