Finish in first place in the Danver Spectra race in duel mode to unlock the 50's Super Drift Caddy car in free run, time attack, and duel mode.

Set the top score in each race of the Time Attack GP in Extra Mode, finishing in first place.

Button Pressure Display

To watch the PS2 sense how hard you're pressing down on each of the controller buttons, try switching into 3rd person mode by pressing Triangle, and hold select. This will bring up a display of how much pressure you're putting on the gas, brake, and left-and-right digital pad buttons.

Control introduction sequence:

Press L1 and R1 during the introduction sequence to cycle through three different effects for the portion that uses the in-game graphics. Press R1 for black and white graphics. Press R1 a second time and the graphics will have a yellow tint. Press R1 a third time to add blur effect, which will eliminate jagged graphics. Press L1 to cycle back through the various effects.

McLaren F1 clone:

Finish in first place in the Kamata Angelus race in duel mode to unlock the McLaren F1 clone in free run, time attack, and duel mode.

Pac-Man mode:

Exceed 3,000 kilometers in total distance raced to unlock a red roadster with a Pac-Man driver. Ghosts on scooters will race against the Pac-Man car.

Third person view onscreen display:

Hold Select while racing in the third person perspective to display onscreen information that includes the amount of pressure being used on various controller buttons.

Unlock Duel Mode

To unlock the Duel Mode, you must place first in both Lap and Overall time in the Standard Time Attack GP. Once you're in Duel Mode, you can unlock secret cars by winning the races. You can use these new cars in Duel, Time Attack, and Free Run mode:
