how do I get the first quarter key ??? please help me...

In order to get the first quarter key, you have to go to Witchwood and talk with the witches in the building with a book and quill. Then the witches are going to ask you to go to Stormbend, and you would have to find a witch in the INN. When you go to her, she will give you the shovel, because she buried the bag of candy. Now instead of using the portal in order to go back to Witchwood, you would have to go to the normal route to go towards Witchwood. Before you go to Witchwood, you will see a small boat that you had purchased from the merchant who is right in front of the pirate ship. You use that boat in order to get to the bomb bird egg (which you will take to Hoo Hatchery and hatch), then you go on the boat again until you see a pill of loose dirt. You go to the loose dirt, and use the shovel to dig up the bag of candy and take it back to the witches. When you go back wait awhile outside of Witchwood, and when you see children walking around, go to Hatitus' house and then you are able to get the first quarter key.
