How do I get past monsters in Aveyond to get seeds?

I am playing Aveyond and can't get past the monsters to get to the seeds to plant in the garden in Land's End. Is there anyone who can help me?

You need to make sure that you have enough experience to beat the monsters. Avoid as many as you can, and make sure you that you hav a bone to give to the dog to get past it to ask the gardener to plant the seeds for you. Make sure you explore every box you find, and you should be able to find both the bone and the seeds. To defeat the birds and the little earth creatures, I have found that the 'lightning spells' work pretty well and cause lots of damage, and you can use Elini to defeat them, too. Hope this helps.

How do you activate the lightning spell once you get it?

All you need to do is when you get to the attack screen, instead of selecting 'attack', 'skill' or 'shield', go to 'item' and click on the lightning spell. Good luck.

To get wax, you have to get it from the caverns in aveyond but make sure you buy a smokebomb from teacup town which is also in aveyond
