i have the granade appel seeds but i can't plant them, do i need the shovel?

No, in land's end there is a little old lady who has a magic garden in the southeast corner. She plants them there for you.

Can't seem to find the brother with the glass eye, if anyone has been able to locate it could you please tell me about where? Thanks

I got the necter to sweeten the rootwell and according to a walkthru I looked at the reward is supposed to be the skeleton key (assuming to the mayor's house), but I did not recieve it. Does anyone know anything about the skeleton key?

The brother with the glass eye is in the cultivist house in the area near brumwich. You have to go through all these caves to finally get to that house. It is an elaborate labyrinth of rooms and more rooms and battling these cultivists, but eventually you'll get to the brother.

The walkthrough is old, bc the game we are playing is an update version. The skeleton key, you'll probably get somewhere else, but I myself have to figure out where too.
Use the walkthrough more as guideline.
