First you have to find some beanstalk seeds. You give them to the old lady who tends the enchanted garden in Lands End. After the beanstalk has grown, if you climb it, at the top there is a magic clock that is encased in ice (this is what you need to slow down the deamon). In order to get the clock, you have to melt the ice.

In a house in Thias, you see a torch which will melt the ice. The owner will trade the torch for glowberries. The glowberries can be found in Dreamworld.
