To get lots of team points quick do this.
Attach Team Boost to a strong pokemon (at least level 17 or higher) and fight a weak person on a different team over and over, each pokemon you knock out you'll get 300 points and sooner or later you'll get a faction bonus which ranges from 500-5000 points.
