Right now im trying to solve this problem,

1. I managed to get the cage for the nightingale quest but after i talk to the general in the mutant squirrel hideout, no squirrel showed me the way to the Sleeping dust which is suppose to help me catch the nighting gale. (I never went to the Squirrel Hideout ever)
2. i figured that i'd just go and get the nightingale without the sleeping dust so i went and was able to sucessfully catch the bird.
3. So I finish doing the nightingale quest (without Sleeping dust) and i already gave the bird to the queen in Veldt but when i try to get Jack (in V somthing islands), it wont come with me because someone in another forum said i havent finish the nightingale quest yet.

So here's THE question: Is there a bug? Or am i just lacking somthing?

Ohh, and i got the birdseed too.

how do you get the birdseed???? now i only have the sleeping dust

Ehem. Okay to make it clear.
Here's what you need to solve the Nightangle quest:
1. The quest from the queen of Veldt(She'll give this quest after you give Genie the new lamp and fight her husband)
2. The bird cage from Veldarah (just buy it from the junk dealer)
3. Birdseed from the squirell hide out (don't worry, if you have the quest, the squirell won't give you any problem. YOu don't even have to ask the squirell just steal the seeds)
Step to finish this quest:
Find the nightangle in the Penissula, and press SPACE/ENTER in fron of it, Rhen will make a trap.
Catch it using the bird cage, and now you get the nightangle. Give the nightangle to the Queen of Veldt and you'll get a briddle.

Okay, that solve the nightangle quest. Now, for information, that pirate name is John. but you can't release him yet. Go to the dragon, and put the briddle on, now you have caught the dragon. YAY!!! try to ride it! Oh suck the dragon won't alow you to ride it. Okay, now let's see, Pirate John is a dragon rider, so let's release him and ride the dragon!!!!
Anyway if you haven't put on the briddle on the dragon, Rhen won't alow Pirate john enter the party.

Next one for the sleeping dust.
Okay, you see there're a bunch of corn in the squirell hide out. Check it out and talk to the squirell, they'll tell you that they get it from the human in the south part. Hmm. . ., so it's solve the "Who steal the corn" quest from Brumwich, Lowlands. Talk to goodwife, and she said she'll send a man to the hide out. now check out how the squirell doin. They've been atack "ze. . Human atack. . .ze!!!" get out from that cave and go back again. All the corn were disapear. talk to the squirel comander and he'll tell you where to find the sleeping dust!
