He's in the Mt. Orion cave system. When go through the cave to enter the cave system you'll come out on the outside to start with go across a bridge and there's cave on the other end of it.. go in it. Then you go up a ladder and across the bridge and through that cave. You'll be outside again. Cross the bridge and go up the ladder and follow the path to the next cave entrance. Following the path up until you get to kind of an open area and there will be a cave there that you go through.This will take you outside again and you just follow the path straight to the next cave. When inside you'll go just follow the path straight up to the next cave which leads you outside again. Go up the long ladder and into that cave and there is where he'll be.
I think I was about a level 20 before I went to fight him.

how do you save the druid? i couldn't find anything there except the frozen druid.

You get the skeleton key from the elves after you give them back the king lionel statue
